    The Thai House at Krabi

     

    This Thai style villa (which is one of four similar properties) nestles only fifteen metres from the turquoise waters of the Andaman sea, near Krabi. It is fully serviced (with maid, security, and cook) so holidays here offer hotel-like services, whilst you stay in a private house. This is a large oceanfront property and can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests.

     

    The house stands in a spacious garden (where there is a private swimming pool) that leads down to the sea, and enjoys magical views of the numerous limestone islands of  Phang Nga Bay.

     

    The house has a spacious  living and dining room, and a fully equipped American kitchen. It has a full complement of  cutlery, crockery, bedding, sheets and towels.

     

    The villa has four bedrooms, each of which has an en-suite bathroom (with bath and shower) and is air-conditioned. All the bedrooms  boast  dramatic  views across the swimming pool to the ocean. The bedrooms comprise two king en-suite rooms each with a king-sized bed, and two more  bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, each with a queen-sized bed.

     

    Full facilities are provided at the property, including  satellite television,  a DVD player and a computer  with  internet access.

     

    Krabi is a highly beautiful province and offers much to see and explore. Only five minutes from the house is  Tha Lane Bay where you can
    kayak, explore sea caves, lagoons, and mangrove forests. if you wish to go on a boat trip, diving or fishing, head for the islands at Mu Kho Hong; if snorkelling in tropical waters to observe colourful sea life is you aim, then check out the fine white sands and clear waters of  Kho Poda & Kho Kai near Ao Nang.

     

    The stunning beauty of Railay beach is just a short boat ride away, and other places of note include the  75 million year old "shell cemetery", Krabi's extraordinary mangrove forests with their unusual flora and fauna, 
    and the famous islands of  Kho Phi Phi. Hot springs, botanical parks, coral reefs, limestone karsts, rock climbing, meditation retreats, waterfalls, nature trails and ancient  cave paintings are also close at hand.
